Show-Me Shield launched August 18, 2026 and replaced the SafeNation app. Choose the route that matches what happened; the systems do different jobs.
Suspicious activity, a missing-person sighting or a vehicle of interest
Use the civilian suspicious-activity report. Anonymous submissions are allowed. Report what you observed—behavior, place, date, time and context—not a conclusion about a person.

Missouri fusion-center staff review Show-Me Shield reports and route them to the appropriate authority. Law enforcement decides whether follow-up is warranted. After submitting, save the reference number and password shown on screen; they are not emailed.

Do not skip a step
An arrest, a filed case and an outcome are different records.

Records what an agency reported at that time. It is not a conviction.
- 2Court filing and docket
Shows allegations, hearings, orders and changes as the case proceeds.
- 3Final disposition
Look for dismissal, acquittal, plea, conviction, judgment or another final action.
A crash listing has a similar boundary: the online entry is preliminary. Request the completed report from the investigating agency when the official record matters.
The Reporter’s publication boundary
Useful access without building a rumor list.
The Reporter provides the official search door and the context needed to use it. It does not automatically republish statewide names, photographs or addresses as a local accusation feed.
- Confirm identity with more than a name.
- State whether information is preliminary, pending or final.
- Link the originating government source and record the access date.
- Include dismissals, corrections and later outcomes with equal visibility.
- Do not describe an arrest or allegation as guilt.
- Use individual registry information only for a verified public-interest purpose.
